Interview with Ron Clower, an attorney and a Democratic member of the Texas Senate from Garland, concerning his experiences and personal views as a member of the Second Special Session of the Sixty-fifth Texas Legislature. Clower discusses the influence of Proposition 13 in California, the opposition to the Special Session, the repeal of the sales tax on utility bills, the modification of inheritance tax exemptions, ad valorem tax, taxation on agricultural land, and the Peveto bill.
